Getting back into balance with yoga therapy

Focus on your own balance

Be it physical ailments (e.g. pain such as backache, arthrosis, knee problems, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes) or mental disharmonies (stress, exhaustion, depression, anxiety): the use of yoga therapy with hatha yoga helps many people to bring their state of health back into balance. The goal is to experience holistic healing, to do something good for oneself and to improve one’s joy and quality of life.

What is yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy is a method of complementary therapy, which is a great supplement to conventional medicine or other treatments and can support the healing process. . In yoga therapy, we use movement, breath and meditation and tailor the exercises to the exact needs of the client. Another important part of my yoga therapy is the Nadi Muscle Therapy NTM according to Remo Rittiner. This method uses finger pressure to stimulate the tension receptors in the muscles. This can release tension, pain and blockages. Yoga therapy is a holistic method to achieve more inner peace, serenity and joy of life.

Yoga therapy can support you well with acute as well as chronic complaints, e.g. with

  • General pain conditions
  • Muscle tension
  • Joint pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Spinal problems
  • Digestive problems
  • Overweight
  • High blood pressure
  • Stress
  • Sleep disorders
  • Anxieties
  • Burn-Out
  • Depression

How do I imagine yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy focuses on the interaction of body, breath, mind, diet and lifestyle. Together, we find out what has thrown your health out of balance. After an initial consultation and anamnesis, I will put together an individual yoga program for you. You should practice this program regularly at home in order to experience the positive effects of yoga therapy. In regular exchanges we discuss the progress of your practice and healing and adjust methods as needed. With yoga therapy, I want to motivate you to take more responsibility for your physical and mental health. As a yoga therapist, it is important for me to point out that therapy is not a substitute for medical care. However, the exercises are a great way to support it.
